A crowd of about 100 participated in the United Freedom Makers of Daviess County, KY rally next to the Owensboro City Hall on Saturday afternoon. Several local candidates also were on hand giving out buttons, bumper stickers and yard signs for the November 2, 2010 election. A few counter protestors also showed up to demonstrate against the Tea Party philosophy. As usual someone showed up with a weapon on their hip to exercise their rights as KY is an open carry State.
