Pride is April 16th! Meet at Legion Park at 8:30am! - We want to see you taking pride in our community April 16. Join PRIDE (Public Responsibility in Designing Our Environment) for a fun day of making our community more beautiful. We are a community-based group focused on the aesthetics of Owensboro-Daviess County. Project locations included: Daviess County Courthouse, Bon Harbor Estates, Parrish Ave at the Bypass, KY Wesleyan Campus Grove, and the Greenbelt. Got no idea who was responsible for replacing the worn and damaged sign to the Heritage Park subdivision but, thanks.
Looking for a way for your organization to give back to the community? PRIDE Day is the perfect way to do just that. Here are some ideas for projects:
• Picking up trash along roadside or a local park
• Planting trees, shrubs or flowers
• Trimming greenery
• Mulching
• Any activity that fits the cause
